Althea learnt the principals of lighting design from renowned, and pioneering icons, Sally Story and Chris Lewis; leaders of the lighting design industry in the UK.
Whilst employed by Lighting Design International Althea was fortunate enough to work on a gamut of worldwide, high end, prestigious projects which include the following:

Lapicida Showroom, Chelsea
Winner of a Lighting Design Award in the Small Retail Projects category.
Durrants Hotel, George Street London
Interior and exterior lighting of a historic and charming family owned Georgian hotel.
Private Residence, Huttons Farm
Additions and alterations to an existing lighting scheme including specialist art lighting.

Working independently under the design direction of Arnold Chan and his team of Directors and Associate Designers.
In this role Althea had the fortune of full design project management of some of the most exciting and best known projects of her career to date.

Shortlisted for the 2014 Lighting Design Award in the category of International Project.

Private members club, spa, gym and restaurant. Responsible for design and supply of the lighting scheme.
Commenced 2014 by Isometrix Lighting + Design, Focusing and scene setting carried out 2015 by Light IQ.

Client: Nobu Restaurants Interior designer: Studio PCH
Design and supply of all lighting equipment including sourcing decorative light fixtures. Working within a limited timeframe and with a tight budget to deliver the best possible quality of scheme.
